Here’s How It Works

Getting Started

  • Contact me with your wedding date & venue

  • We’ll chat and take care of booking logistics (Contract & deposit)

  • We’ll do an engagement shoot, get some epic couples shots, and get comfortable working together

  • If I’ve never shot your venue before, I’ll location scout it!

6 Weeks Before

  • I’ll request a list of formal photos you’d like to have on your day (combinations of family members & friends).

  • We’ll assign a family member from each side to help assemble groups for photos so it all runs smoothly day-of!

  • I’ll request your itinerary and confirm the details.

The Week Of

  • I check in to make sure you have everything you need from me, confirm the final itinerary, and answer any questions.

The Big Day

  • I’m there through it all, capturing every moment, being a source of positive energy, and lending a helping hand when you need it.

  • I pack a Wedding Day Survival kit full of little helpful tools for your special day to run smoothly-- just in case!

The Weeks Following

  • Within a few days you’ll have a sneak peek gallery with some images to highlight the day

  • 2-3 weeks later you’ll receive a digital album to share with family and friends

  • 6 weeks later you’ll receive a personalized keepsake wooden box including an engraved USB drive with your full wedding gallery.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you do destination weddings?

Yes, I do! I love to travel and explore around New Zealand and beyond. I’d love to hear more about your destination wedding! Contact me and we can chat about your vision for your special day and any travel expenses.

How many photos will I get from my wedding day?

Generally speaking, the more hours of coverage you book, the more images you will receive. While I believe every wedding day story is too unique to put a firm number on it, a 6-hour wedding day package has a minimum of 450 photos. Contact me for more details!

Do we get colour and black and white images?

Yes! I love both and would love to provide you some timeless black and white images. 70-80% of your photos will be in colour, and I will pick out the ones that would look best in black and white based on the lighting and composition.

Do you do albums & prints?

Yes! I create wedding albums that are flush mount and cover-stamped. It’s so nice to have something tangible to hold in your hands to relive the memories from your wedding day with your spouse, friends, and family. (My daughter loves looking through my wedding album!)

Can I send you ideas and inspiration for my photoshoot?

Yes! I encourage all my clients to make a Pinterest board for their engagement shoots and for their wedding photos to share with me. That way, I can get a sense of your unique style and personality, and capture exactly what you want.
