For the past 12 years, it’s been like a dream to get to spend so much time celebrating with newly engaged couples, with families as they welcome new in-laws, and with new parents and their bundles of joy.
I have been so lucky to be there to capture love stories of all kinds, while sharing laughs and forming friendships along the way.
My love of wedding photography began when I was asked to shoot a friend’s mum’s wedding. I loved the energy and excitement of a wedding day, it fed into my naturally bubbly personality and the flexibility of it allowed my clients and I to get creative. We had more space to be playful and active, more sceneries and natural light to play with, and I fell in love with capturing candid, natural moments of happiness.
I grew up on a dairy farm, and when I mentioned I was considering starting my own photography business, my dad said to me, “if you don’t make it on your own, you can come back to work on the farm.” A bit of a rebellious spirit, and determined to never milk another cow, I set out to prove to him and to myself that I could do it. I’ve now been capturing weddings full time for 5 years, and I absolutely love what I do.
It’s my mission to capture photos that are as vibrant as your love. Nothing makes me happier than when a client tells me “I can’t stop staring at my photos!”
